DESCRIPTION OF EXHIBITION

The exhibition is dedicated to secular events in the East, when noblemen rushed to the court to settle important political issues, which were accompanied by treats and entertainments.

The viewer can understand how feasts, hunts, and meetings took place at the courts of rulers in the past not only through written sources but also through objects of material culture and art from the State Hermitage Museum’s collection.

Guests will dive into the atmosphere of oriental hospitality and culture. The exhibition provides guided tours and interactive children’s programs, as well as an audioguide and a game map.
