Exhibition Halls of Prisutstvennye Mesta
The Spasskaya Tower Museum is dedicated to the fortification of the Kazan Kremlin and the Spasskaya Tower through various historical stages. During the guided tour you will learn the history of the fortress walls and towers, as well as the changes that have occurred to them.
The museum is devoted to the history of Tatar statehood, ethnogenesis, religion, and traditions. The exposition introduces items from the Tatars' material and spiritual culture as well as their ancestors.
The museum's exhibition in classical and interactive forms introduces the geological and paleontological history of the Earth. More than 2000 exhibits are displayed in the museum's 12 halls, including meteorites, minerals, and plant and animal fossils.
The museum provides broad information about Islam as a global religion as well as an introduction to Islam's role in the history and culture of the Tatars.
The First Representative Establishment of the State Hermitage in Russia. The Centre's halls display exhibitions from the State Hermitage Museum's collection as well as those from leading museums in Russia and around the world.
The museum depicts the history of Kazan Kremlin's Annunciation Cathedral from the 14th century to the present day. The museum's exposition represents books and documents from the 14th–19th centuries, as well as icons and attributes of Christian life.
The Museum has exhibitions created in collaboration with museums in Russia. The core of the exhibition is the foundry pit, which displays a mockup of the major steps of cannon casting as well as intact masonry from the 17th–18th centuries.
It is housed in a building that was used at the end of the 19th century to train Junkers for marching drills. The Manège regularly hosts exhibitions from leading museums in Russia and abroad.
The exhibition halls are located in the first and second entrances of the building, which was constructed in 1781.
The Kazan Kremlin Museum-Reserve
The Kazan Kremlin is Kazan’s oldest part, consisting of a complex of architectural, historical, and archaeological monuments that reveal the city’s centuries-long history. Today, the Kazan Kremlin is one of Russia’s most popular tourist destinations, with over 4 million visitors per year. The Kazan Kremlin’s historical and architectural complex was chosen to be included in the World Heritage List during the 24th session of the UNESCO World Natural and Cultural Heritage Committee in 2000.

The Kazan Kremlin Museum-Reserve is open to the public 24/7. The entrance to the territory is through the Spasskaya Tower (around the clock) or the Tainitskaya Tower (from 6:00 to 20:00).
You can park your car near the museum-reserve in a paid municipal parking lot.
No parking fee is charged on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.

The Kazan Kremlin's branded shop is located at the 4th entrance to the building of Prisutstvennye Mesta. Souvenirs, children's and adult books, branded T-shirts and sweatshirts, and candles and diffusers with fragrances designed specifically for the Kazan Kremlin can all be purchased here.

An audioguide is a convenient and easily accessible way to get acquainted with the Kazan Kremlin.
The price for renting an audioguide: 350 ₽ (audioguide, headphones, map)
The audioguide is available at the Kazan Kremlin Museum-Reserve's ticket office, which is located in the Spasskaya Tower.

To use the audioguide, you must leave a document (driving license or pension certificate) or a cash deposit in the amount of 2000 ₽ as a pledge.
