This exhibition presents one of Russia’s most significant art collections, formerly held by the princely Yusupov dynasty.
This extensive exhibition features over 400 works, spanning from antiquity to the early 20th century, and includes Western European and Russian painting, graphic arts, sculpture, and decorative arts. Visitors will encounter masterpieces from the painting collection, including works by Tiepolo, Ricci, Vernet, Boucher, Lancret, Robert, Teniers the Younger, and other renowned masters of the 17th–19th centuries. The exhibition also features the Yusupov family’s portrait gallery, items from the princesses’ wardrobes, fine jewellery, and other personal effects belonging to the princes. Visitors will be immersed in the world of the Russian aristocracy during the 18th and 19th centuries.
The exhibition will be further enhanced by interactive children’s areas, scent stations, multimedia displays, and tactile models.

The exhibition ‘The Yusupovs. Luxury Across the Centuries’ from Hermitage collection
Hermitage Days 2025 will take place in Kazan on October 17, 18, and 19, 2025. The centrepiece of the programme will be the opening of the exhibition ‘The Yusupovs. Luxury Across the Centuries’, presented from the collection of the State Hermitage Museum.
We invite schoolchildren, teachers and parents to the exhibition ‘The Yusupovs. Luxury Across the Centuries’. Young visitors will discover the story of one of Russia’s most influential dynasties through the family’s private art collection. On display are authentic works from the State Hermitage Museum, including paintings, sculpture, porcelain, and personal items that once belonged to the princes.
On 4 November, as part of the nationwide ‘Night of the Arts’ campaign, the exhibition ‘The Yusupovs. Luxury Across the Centuries‘ from the State Hermitage Museum’s collection will run special programmes for all visitors from 18:00 to 23:00. Admission to all events is covered by the admission ticket.
Every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, visitors can join a guided tour of the exhibition ‘The Yusupovs. Luxury Across the Centuries’ or embark on a family adventure with the ‘Little Secrets of a Grand Collection’ programme. This family-friendly activity features engaging tasks, games, and a souvenir to take home. Pick your perfect time and join us on this journey through art and history! The programme of events will be updated throughout the exhibition’s run.
