The exhibition brings together works by renowned masters of the 19th and 20th centuries and contemporary artists of the 21st century, organised into seven sections that reflect fundamental themes in art: mythology, the city, landscape, genre scenes/interiors, still life, history, and portraiture.
Works by 19th- and 20th-century artists are provided by the State Museum of Fine Arts of the Republic of Tatarstan, while contemporary art is represented by pieces from the private collection of Pierre-Christian Brochet, as well as projects by students from the HSE National Research University and works by artists from the Republic of Tatarstan—winners of a specially organised regional open call.
The Heirs Project is not only a cultural event but also an important step in developing collaborative networks between museums, educational and research institutions, and business partners. This initiative aims to foster dialogue across generations and disciplines, highlighting the enduring legacy and evolving nature of artistic expression.
