Islamic Culture MuseumAudioguide to the Exhibition ‘«Muslim Civilisation of the Volga Region» was created for those who are interested in the history of the rise of Islam in the Volga region during the eras of Volga Bulgaria, the Golden Horde, and the Kazan Khanate. The Islamic Culture Museum is located on the ground floor of the Kul Sharif Mosque, which is part of the Kazan Kremlin complex. The museum’s exposition occupies two halls with a total area of 566 sq. m. This museum is the only one in Russia devoted to the history and culture of Islam among the Turkic-Tatar peoples of the Volga region and the Urals.
