During the session, participants will be introduced to the state symbols of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Tatarstan, learn about the history of the emergence of anthems, flags and coats of arms, their meaning, interpretation, evolution and use throughout history. You will be able to unlock the secrets of state symbols through an introduction to the fundamentals of heraldry, hymnology and vexillology. At the end of the session, you will be able to answer the question of why all historical monuments, institutions and government bodies are adorned with the state flags and coats of arms of Russia and Tatarstan, and what significance they hold today.
